Having worked with leading global companies and advised on high-value, cross-border transactions, Alexey is recognised for expertise in structuring and negotiating complex deals across multiple industries.
Throughout his career, Alexey has been instrumental in providing strategic legal advice to both public and private entities. He has advised industry giants such as Equinor (formerly Statoil), ExxonMobil and LUKOIL on landmark joint ventures, acquisitions and investments including significant projects in Central Asia, Middle East and Africa.
Alexey’s extensive track record includes advising on multi-billion-dollar transactions, such as the $1.45 billion sale of a diamond mining company and the $2.05 billion acquisition of an oil company.
A recognized leader in the field, Alexey Kondratchik has been consistently ranked in Chambers Global and Chambers Europe for expertise in Energy & Natural Resources from 2017 to 2021. He has also been a member of the Association of International Energy Negotiators since 2019.
Prior to joining the Firm, Alexey worked at prominent firms including Akin Gump, White & Case and Vinson & Elkins where he developed a deep understanding of international business law and practices.
